I have decided to go back to the OEM wiper blades on my ED, they aren't cheap, but perform a lot better then aftermarket ones.

At $32 per side, they are not cheap

Yeah I have been told by numerous people that the ford wiper blades are so much better than any aftermarket ones you can buy. They seem to wipe better and have a longer lifespan.

This doesnt surprise me.. the wiper blades were changed by ford on the EDXR6 a while back and I couldnt believe how good they worked compared to all the various brands I'd tried on all my cars over the years.

Money well spent I guess, nothing worse than bad wiper blades.

OEM are Trico. Trico make the blades and refills for most aussie made cars.

Feel safe to buy Trico they are exactly the same. Probably cheaper too.

Do you know if these accept the 2 peices of wire on either side or just slide into the plastic that fits into the wiper arm.

I use genuine rubber inserts because I get them real cheap and they are pretty good.
when you say $32 per side you got the whole blade aswell?

i bought some at repco 3 weeks ago...$6 in total. Cant remember the brand, but works a treat. Said "top quality" on the box..

I wouldnt mind trying this OEM one. Does that come with the actual wiper arm also?

The two new Trico blades I installed last month came with metal backed refills. The Trico refill has the two wire strips in it.
