It's funny. No one has actually answered the guys question yet

Yeah, you can get chrome wheels for e-series falcons. I've seen EF/EL XR 16" replicas in chrome.

Didn't like 'em. I don't think chrome is rice though... Depending on you're taste it's awesome or s**t.

Chrome hubcaps = RICE
Chrome wheels on a falcon, i cant see whats so rice about that.
Stickers down your front fender, neon lights and cannons are rice.
The amount of falcons gettin around with chrome wheels and gettin articles and front pages on magazines etc is ever increasing.
The finish/colour of the wheel wont make it rice, it is the design that will that will do that.
My 2 cents.

Chrome looks s**t on ALL cars EXCEPT for Black cars, and old cars like the mustang mitch_anderson posted.
Newer cars look gay with chrome coz nothing else on the car matches the chrome. Older cars had chrome bumpers and all sorts of ill chrome $#it, newer cars have plastic coloured bumpers that don't match chrome rimms...
thus Chrome mags only suit older cars.

The only exception for newer cars is black cars, because the black and the chrome contrast each other.

Like Mr_Soul said...

Shadow chrome is the way to go. It suites modern cars better because the shadow blends in with the colours of the car.

giggidy giggidy giggidy!!

I think it depends on the colour of your car & the design of the rims.

ANZ Mayhems look wicked, and I think AMG Quake Argons look nice too! (see pics, Quakes are on my soon-to-be-replaced Red EF))

Don't let everyone batter you down with their opinions, 'cos ultimately it's YOUR car!

Just do some research, your choices are limited because of Pre-AU fitment anyhow, which isn't really a bad thing 'cos you can't get confused for choice!

Check out somewhere like the Bob Janes Virtual Wheels selection program http://www.bobjane.com.au/Wheels/VirtualWheels.asp
to determine what's hot & what's not.

It's your choice, just make it an INFORMED one!

Putting a massive spoiler on my roof would be different.
Tinting my windows pink would be different.
Fitting my car with 20 guages including a 12,000rpm tacho would be different (for a Falcon anyway)....
