Hey guys,
Just about to buy some knew springs and shocks and wanted to see some pictures and measurements of what u spring package u running with ur FTR's. Im tossing between low and super low front/rear so if anyone has an EF/EL with FTR's plz post a pic so i can see how it sits. Thanks in adance guys

I have Pedders sportsrider kit, i think they are equivalent to superlows.

Im thinking low front and super low rear as its my daily driver and dont want it to be too low especially with the inner west Sydney roads im on everyday.
Does it matter if i have a lpg tank in the rear as i dont think it drops it much??? or should i go low rear as well???

hey mate look in my gallery for pics i have pedders lowered 2 and a 1/4 inches on my wagon with genuine 16inch ftrs sits very nicely

Don't know if i could cope having anything lower than standard on mine.
The tickford kit means it scrapes around everywhere.

I have lows in mine and that scrapes on cirtin driveways enough as it is.
Although I have a fairlane and I dont have FTR's My rims are 16' and have 50 profile tyres.  Still give you an idea on the ride hight. |

im not sure what type of shocks i got only that their pedders and were with extra heavy duty springs i got the full set from the wreckers and used the shocks with some ultra lows . It rides smooth and not bumpy at all also the shocks were near brand new .

ef_falcon_95 Which wreakers did u visit to find ur shocks??? Seems like a few guyz make trips to wreaker and find some great gear for dirt cheap prices LOL

mickyyy..... i went to dapto pick a part about 15mins drive from wolongong.. good wreckers have heeps of falcons... i got a full set of struts and springs for $140 fair price and the shocks were near new,,, really depends on what you buy ...there are some parts are cheap and some are really expensive... i got 2 fairmont seats for $50 in really good condition not a rip or a smudge of dirt on them.. then i aske for a price on a cat they wanted $200 wtf lol

Like XR-Lane i don't have FTR's, but the Concorde's are 16" and I'm running 225/50's which is what I've seen most people run on FTR's.
This is the only side on shot i could find of mine. I have Pedders Sports Ryder Struts with the lower mounted spring seat combined with pedders "low" springs up front. Rears are Pedders "lows" as well with the Sports Ryder shocks. The front is almost/around "superlow" height, the rear is just lower than std XR height but still sits a little higher in the rear. I'll be moving to "superlow" springs in the rear soon which should level out the height a bit.
