I've got touch up paintfrom Ford for all my cars and wonder what is the best way to apply it.

I clean the area first then I shake the bottle and then apply with the brush lid that comes with the bottle.

I know its not going to be perfect, its just to touch up the white bits from stone chips and such. I dont want big globs of paint or large brushed areas from using not enough paint on the brush so I dont get the blobs.

Can you polish it after to reduce the visible sign of the touch up paint?

Anyone got any good tips please let me know.
Cheers

Hmm look like you need a thinner paint brush to do it right. I'll have to get a modellers 000 brush.

On mine i apply one layer to the scratched area, let that set over night even for a full 4 odd hours, then i hit it with cut n polish. That basically leaves the paint in the scratch and gets rid of the excess, so far it has worked a charm on my car, and some places you cant even know where there were deep scratches/chips. Though it does take a LONG time to do, but it works good and is cheaper then a respray.
