Im finding it hard Looking for rims for my car i have an el fairmont and it seems not many fit. The ones i like are Petrol - vengeance. but the only way to get them to fit is with wheel adapters/spacers. im not sure wether i wanna go that way though as i belive it will weaken it, considering i dont mind dropping the clutch here and there!! does any one have some advice on wheel adapters/spacers. or any other rims alike.
some other rims i like are Advanti-Inferno, Lemans, XIX-X05. are there anymore like this? |

im not sure how hard you drive but there's a heck of alot more grip down the quater mile where i have raced with my hub adapters and never had a problem...
just make sure the nuts suit the hub adapter studs... |

They will be fine as long as the nuts are the right length. Just don't fork out for comprehensive insurance while you're running them.

As long as your running the correct nuts for the spacers you'll be fine, like everyone's said lol.
The problems that occur are, for example, if you have spacers with 12mm studs, not 1/2" like falcon studs, and you still try and run falcon nuts on them. The nuts will go on, but they wont grab, and will quickly strip off, and off will come a wheel. |

Yeah ok cheers guys. i cant afford insurance anyway so that doesnt matter. my main concern was breaking but if it can handle the quater mile theres not many more places with more grip than that.
ill have to think about it cause it sounds like its going to cost pretty much the same as getting them made to suit. |

i can afford 3rd party but that covers f**k all. full cover insurance was about $2500 a year and $2000 excess. whats the point ??
