2" increase in dia. for an EF is only 17". The largest fitted to EF was 15", EL's had option of 16" FTR allowing 18" and ELGT had standard 17" allowing fitting of 19" on ELGT only. So yes you will require certification to be legal.

Every Falcon from EB2 onwards has had 16" available optionally. EB2 XR6 got 16" optionals, EB GT got 17's, ED Sprint got 16's, EF XR got FTR's optional, EL got FTR's optional in the XR's and 17's on the GT.

Yes, it was option, but only on the xr's, from what I hear it's a bit dodgy but people get the placard off a gt, which says 17's. there available from ford relatively cheap.

NSW doesnt have a 2in rule.

Just cant increase the rolling diameter by more than a small percentage
