I have just noticed a slight ripple in the rear pillars on my EL Fairmont ghia after polishing it. I had a look inside under the door seals and it appears this is where the roof was joined to the rear quarter pillars. The car has never been in an accident and all panels have original ford labels from factory, im hoping it was a poor join from factory. In attached pic the seam is just visable.

Pretty common, no need to worry.
Guessing labels are the chassis number stickers on all EF and EL series 1

Original panels on E series have ford stickers on them. I think they stopped it on AU's.

One side of my car has been in a fairly big accident at some stage earlier in its life, the only tell tale sign of it was where they repainted it. They painted up to around that area on my pillar. Replaced panels went from front quarter to rear.
