Yeah I think that's what I must of seen on a few of them, thanks. Are they like fake projector beams or something?

apart from a standard globe placed behind them.. all they do is light up.. possibly the shape of the lense is designed to spread the beam of light perhaps??

Must've gone to ordinary reflectors in the NF/NL's & DF/DL's.
Those projectors in the pics are off the low beams ??

AFAIK the E series XR's had projectors in the low beam headlamps.

Well I'd say modding the headlamps probably wouldn't be too difficult, probably time consuming though.
MAVS19 was pretty knowledgeable in this area - shame he doesn't seem to be on here anymore.

Lol, I was asking because I'd like try and fit some proectors to my Monty lights, and some old Fairlane headlights would be hella cheaper to pull apart then other cars with them.

Should I forget it and go for HID lights already? I just think it's going to be stupid with crazy bright light going everywhere, pissing other pedestrians off.

How'd they light up fordfreak?

Speaking of yellow headlights, picked this up from a EL Fairmont wreck yesterday. Shame the LHS one had cracked mounts and a crack in the cover (otherwise it would of been in mint condition too).

Genuine Ford RHS headlight, like new condition, $125. Aren't new genuines about $300 each? A steal I think.

You been drinking a bit to much again Frank?

Projector low beam was in the NA-NCII Lanes and the Lincoln Type Design  of that era.

Only problem with fitting them to EF/EL headlights is the fact the lense has the light pattern designed into it, it will work against it, the NA/NC Fairlane etc headlight lense is clear where the protector beam shines through.

Better off fitting HIDs unless you are going to somehow replace the lense with clear plastic in front of the projector, you can still use HIDs with the projectors too, in fact most factory HID cars are fitted with projectors due to better focused beam, plus the projector is fitted with an automatic leveler (something single beam H4 users should think about, before winding their low beam up) to prevent on coming drivers being blinded.
