None the less, the XR GT hybrid sounds very cool. Need a 5 speed.

With the transmission altough i would love to get a 5 speed in the XR that would in the end cost a s**t more as my XR came factory with the Auto which would meen i have to change the ECU and lots of other stuff $$$$.

Get the box converted and limp it around to my place, we can fool the ECU with about 20c worth of resistors.

BTW... leave it stock and bolt a vortech onto it

The interest on my loan will stay the same for the whole length of the contract. Its a fixed rate and it cannot be changed :D

I do and must admit the quicker i pay the car off the better but as i have more than 2 jobs atm i can sort of decide where it all goes :)

One job pays bills blah blah etc. The others i use to spend on my car.

If the whole XR/GT thing doesnt work out and most likely it wont then i will prolly just go for a tuff street look. 8-)

But yeah i would love a 5 speed... first things first thou i need someone to teach me how to drive a manual

Compound interest dude.... the interest is calculated daily on your balance. The lower the balance, the less interest you are charged. Therefore the quicker you pay it off, the less interest you end up paying.

The rate doesnt change, the calculation on balance does.

Damn it good point.... I would hate to think how much genuine stuff is!!!

You cant get it unless you have a "GT" vin no. Even if you did ford probably wouldnt have the stuff anymore. Like the FBT grille etc.

you can still get EL GT stuff through ford .... if you got BIG dollars ...
$750 for the grill
$2100 for the rear spoiler ... ect

I would kill for a GT grill myself .... still looking :(

Remember the word "dominance" which means in the car world............. forgetting the spoilers, side skirts and pretty stripes and badges. Show off those wheels, ideally 3 piece ROH Chicane or Milano 17 x 8, tint the glass and go to sports low - keep the car as plain as possible, it will attract attention, and you won't look like a try hard.

Yeah XR looks good enough. Spend the money of the motor and some wheels.

I still might get the Tickford body kit but at this point the GT body kit looks like it may drain the funds too much if i go that extravagant

Thanks for your input guys
