Well as of late i have been wondering what way to go with my XR6, now im still paying it off but i still make enough $ to be able to seriosuly put some thoughts into action.

What i want to know is what would be a better option Exterior wise-

1- Leave it fairly stock looking (sleeper mabe) some mags, tints thats about it.
2- Buy the ticky bodykit and get a new spoiler possibly the EF/EL XR8 spoiler, with mags and tinted windows.

OR this is what im seriously thinking about doing... work with me here guys :)

3- EF XR/EL GT fusion of some sort :D EL GT mags with the EL GT bodykit minus the scoop and Grill, then the EL GT spoiler.
With the XR6 front i think this would look fkn hot, then some nice dark tints.

Engine wise well i do have plans but it really will depend on what exterior image i go for.
Now i dont have Photoshop so i cant really show some pics on what it may or could look like but just try to picture it. :)

What do you think? If you can get Photoshop for me *cough* backup disc *cough* then i can use my decent photoshopping skills to show you what im thinking of doing.

Cheers people, but i am serious about this. :P So some input would be great.

i think it would be hard to call an XR with mags tint etc a sleeper... but i do like the GT fusion idea, but one of the first things i reckon you would have to do would be get rid of the red stripe and go all white..

Oh im getting too many mixed answers lol. Well as i said the work i PLAN on doing under the hood will depend on what look im going for with the car.

If i go sleeper or just have the ticky bodykit chances are i wont put all that much $$$ into the engine, i would most likey spend it on a stereo upgrade. :)

See the way i see it if i go for something that really demands attention then i will make the effort to put more $$$ in the engine.

Cant say exactly what i plan to do but it will be good :D I would still prefer the XR GT fusion. Damn it!!!!

Does ne one have photoshop........u wanna lend me a copy.....please. I really wanna see how this would look. :P

Most of the "GT" kit you will find is just crappy mock up "millenium" s**t. I dont like it.

mmmmm... is that a bias opinion :D

If i were in your position i would go for the tickford kit, get rims and dump it with tints and buy a charger and ....... you can imagine the ending

You cant get it unless you have a "GT" vin no. Even if you did ford probably wouldnt have the stuff anymore. Like the FBT grille etc.

LOL um no it wasnt really

As for lowering the car, im happy with the way it sits now, i have too many bad driveways to get in and out of ne way so i think i will keep it the way it is. :P

XRFAN- I am going for the sleeper option. Even stock mags and no tint. And this town isnt big enough for the both of us.

None the less, the XR GT hybrid sounds very cool. Need a 5 speed.

Yeah is that right ....... this town aint big enough for the both of us! :D Well we will just see wont we :)

With the transmission altough i would love to get a 5 speed in the XR that would in the end cost a s**t more as my XR came factory with the Auto which would meen i have to change the ECU and lots of other stuff $$$$.

But yeah just trying to work it all out. Im supposed to be getting Adobe Photoshop from a mate this weekend so hopefully i can create an image of what i hope to eventully turn the XR into. :D
