Hey guys not sure if it's just me but searching doesn't seem to get me much results. I'm looking to sawp my current yellow lights to the crystal white type. I was wondering whether an ef mont needed h1's or h4's? Could someone recommend some to me on ebay? Lastly for those of you who have sawpped them how do you find visibility at night with them?

Cheers,

Pat

G'day Pat,

I replaced mine (late 95 EF) with a set of Narva globes. I forget the colour value, but they were the bluest legal ones... So they're just a bit whiter than the stock ones.

Mine were H1 and just in case I have my wires crossed, they looked like this (fitting wise)

Night visibility is noticeably better... not hugely better but noticeable better none the less. Street signs are much more visible and are visible from further away and general driving is a bit easier too.

I reckon it's worth the swap, it's easy to do, improves visibility and looks good

fairmonts take the H4 globes, and H3 for high beams. i recommend getting the narva arctic blue T10 parkers too as they are a much whiter white.

i have 4 parkers, low beams and high beams all Narva Arctic Blues. normal headlights are 3200k i think and the Arctic Blues are 4000k. so much brighter and whiter. it cost me $100 in globes. it was worth it though

That was it, Arctic Blue. I did the parkers and head lights. I didn't do the high beams.

i doubt they are 100-150w. and 4500k globes are illegal. the brightest you can go is 4000k. thats why i went Arctic Blues
