I had a f**k' set. Until I took my car in for a diff overhaul today.
Got home and noticed some prick had swapped them over for plastic ones, and 3, not 4 like I had :) pathetic..

Does anyone know who sells them?

And I'll be ringing the diff guy to ask his appentice if he knows anything about it, tomorrow.
So it's cost me $750.00, and a set of steel valve caps. :P Nice..

My wifes got them on her Lancer, last time it was in Bridgestone having a tyre replaced they left them off. When we went back they gaves us some different ones. They keep them in stock.

So try around a few tyre shops.

Thanks man.
I think the young dude at the shop mistook the caps as being "steal caps"

lol, someone nicked one of mine, when I got my tyres replaced recently. They gave me a spare (so all four again).

Really depends where you go for services/repairs and the like. I wouldn't be going back to that place. Who knows what else they do.

Repco sells the Slime brand ones, like 4 bucks for a pack of 4. If you ahve trouble finding them let me know tomorrow and I'll get the part number for you. Asides that most auto stores should have or be able to get them! (we keep heaps of colours, silver, black, blue, red, yellow, etc. metal ones)

Ive got a set that came with the fairlane, with a lttle tool which tightens them on pretty bloody tightly!
They guy that i go the car off gave me the tool to keep them tight and ive never had mine stolen, my car sits in the driveway or shopping centers mostly; go figure.

Seems a POINTLESS excercise, mostly just annoying as i know if mine were stolen id never find the same ones again, yet to see them anywhere.

I dont see why they removed them for diff work, but I say take yourself in there n say arent you forgetting something?

Yeah I just rang them, he said they undo the wheel nuts. They could have done it then?
But I can't blame the f**k, becuase I can't be 100% sure. Last month I had new tyres put on the car so it could even of happened then.

Oh well, tis the climate we live I suppose.
