so essentially to use it the car needs to be off the raod for 3 days? or does rain have no bairing on it?

any news on whether it brings the faded red XR strips back to red?

Well I've ordered a new set of red XR body moulds so I'll try this stuff on the ones on my car and report back when the trim dream arrives.
I'll do the front door red stripe and leave the back door one alone and take a pic.
Hopefully should turn up today or tomorrow.

No, just as long as it doesn't rain
With the sealants in step 3 and most sealants, if it rains within 3 days, the sealant will drown and not cure and thus protection is not possible
However the shine from trim dream will remain

It should but I wont be seeing my friend for a week or two yet
I'm pretty dam sure that it will as most polishes do. I've machine polished them red stripes before.

The main area is excels is black trim, paint, some interior dash pieces

sounds pretty awesome mate. if its ok by you, i might take some pics of my trim on the weekend and place them here and you can, in your honest professional mind, give me an idea as to whether the product would work or not

(if you have time of course)

hey mate for the el xr stripes this is hard work but be careful of paint work and rub them down harshly with a light sand paper or wet and dry then pollish them using presure with the rag and they come up great

on all cars tested so far with those triangular bits, as long as they are not metal), it works terrific

Anytime sgt bourne, put them pics on and I'll take a good look
have them closeup but not so close that I cant see anything else

Sorry mate, they are unrepairable. The urethane black coating has been burnt to a crisp by the UV rays and then cracked up from being naked and dry for so long

Anyone who still has trims without this problem should trim dream them ASAP
Many ford falcon trims from various models are not UV stable

any chance you could get onto the urethane with a bit of glass paper and then try the trim dream and have a bit of sucess. my trims look a bit like that, not quite as bad but still.
