hi all, so who else on here is sick of the matt, grey non reflective exterior trims on ef/el falcons?? well i was until i tried this new product called TRIM DREAM. this is the lattest gear in exterior trim detailing/care produced by DREAM MACHINES in adelaide (aurora98) it turns thoes crappy greyish trims into nice glossy wet looking refletive trims  and the best bit is the trims are now premanantly BLACK and wet looking and this stuff doesnt wash off or fade unlike using tyre shine. this stuff is unreal, here is a few pics of the trims on my elxr8 after using trim dream.
first pic is before i used trim dream and the rest are after i used trim dream, cant find my other before pics :?

i think it was arround $70 for three 125ml bottles, its a three step thing but that is enough to do 9 or 10 cars

just what i need, mine are black but they are badly worn and peeling. my rear window trim especially looks like its missing a layer or two.

like xr6luke asked, can you use it on badly faded/peeling trims?

works great on old faded trims (this is what it does best and what it was made for) but i think if the trims have begun to peel they might be to far gone. you can see how faded and grey that first pic is and when looking at the second pic you would think i have painted it but that was just after using trim dream twice and it will always stay glossy and black with no chance of fading or rubbing off.

hey matt, fell free to jump in and answer any questions people might have, you know more about this stuff than anyone.

just shoot aurora98 a pm, he does plenty of postal orders all round the country.

it can be used to restore old trims or to make trims that are in good condition look even better. oh and did i mention that it turns the trims BLACK and wet looking for ever, thats the bit i like the best 8-) nothing worse than having show quality paint and these crappy flat grey trims that stick out like dogs balls.

Will this work on the red XR body moulds? Or is it only for black?

Hey there Timmeh. It should work on them. I'll need to test it on my friends EF XR6 wagon to find out. I'll check before anyone orders it for that purpose

I'm excited that it worked so well on millards black door molds, I wasn't expecting it to do them

I should also mention that trim dream also brings up most wiper arms to this, regardless of condition.

And BA-BF trims like this

1988 BMW door pillars (by hand)

Finally, it will work wonders on EA-ED door handles and other smooth/semi shiny exterior trims including the rear plastics of EB's and the best part of all, it also does paintwork. will fill swirls by hand and if you use step 3 like a wax, will lock in the fillers and prevent them from washing out.
Step 3 is an excellent year long paint protection coating thats silicone free
