Hey everyone,

Currently, I have a 2009 Ford Falcon FG XT, with standard 16" alloy wheels. The current tyres are 215's (I think)

I'm looking to upgrade to these 18" wheels, which originally were on a Ford Territory.

Here are the specifications of the wheels

(Basically, 18x7.5Jx36.5)

Will these wheels fit on my car without too much trouble, and will they look normal/good?

I called beaurepaires today, and they said 7.5" is too small for a Falcon, and that I would need 8", as Falcon's usually run 245's?

Thoughts?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks, Dean

...I don't see how a 7.5" wide rim initially on a Territory is too small for a Falcon...

I'm no expert, but pretty sure they should fit.

Lol I have no idea at all!
I'm guessing they will fit, but they aren't very wide, so they'll be too far inwards if that makes sense

Troyman,

You don't think they will look out of place or anything like that?

i dont think it will look odd, what size tyres you want to run?

235 on 7.5" rims will still be ok, some put 245 on 8" ..
it might look a bit weired if you were to put 245 on the 7.5" rim...

to give you an idea get a ruler and look at 1/2" which is 12.7mm/ 1.27 cm.. not a huge amount...

I really don't mind what size tyres I get, I just want something that will fit the car nicely, fit the wheels nicely, and also have some extra tyre to prevent gutter rash if possible.

Yeah I've been thinking about that, and it really isn't that big of an amount, just worried because I'm new to all this tyre business
