^^^ Hate those stickers. Your car isnt made by Tickford is it? Just as bad as people sticking the wings all round their cars.

lol, you put things up on a public forum be prepared for criticism. If not, dont post here.
My car has a Tickford engine, but you dont see me putting stickers all over saying its a Tickford. Why? Because its not.
You can do what you want with your car, but I'll still put you in the same class as those who put the wings all round there non XRs, FPV badges on non FPVs or E/A series, Chev badged Holdens, and those Fagnas with Ralli-Art stickers across the front windshield.

So if you were to buy Tickford or FPV wheels wouldn't put them on your car without replacing the center caps with standard ones? And as for putting things on a 'Public forum' so be prepared for criticism, why does it always have to be negative? What happened to 'If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.' Criticism can be constructive, it's the judgement of its merits as well as faults!
Just because he has a Tickford sticker on his car doesn't mean he's making statement of fact! Do you wear brand name clothes?? Are you saying that your made by them? People have different tastes and likes, just because you don't like it doesn't make it wrong or right.... EACH TO THEIR OWN!!
And yes, i have an FPV logo on my BA leather MOMO wheel and no its not an FPV. I also so have FPV center caps on my BA XR8 18" rims... Oh wait, should i have those rims on my car? It's not an XR8! What about the all the standard cars with Tickford, XR and FPV body kits......

lol, centre caps come with the wheels dont they? You dont go out of your way to put them on, like stickers.
Brand name clothing is a different argument - they made the clothing didnt they?
If you were to go put a Billabong sticker on a plain white tee you picked up from Lowes, now that would be the same argument.
I did not say it was wrong or right, I said it was gay and useless which is my opinion. If he's entitled to say its my car I can do what I want with it, I should be able to say yeh great, I think its still gay.
Also what does a bodykit have to do with this?

99% of stickers on cars are pointless. Just an advertisment of what sort of twit the driver is. Already made my point about brandnames on cars.

Just to throw some fuel on the current fire, tickford, FPV, Chev, Transformers etc, when people put this stuff on their car are they advertising or making known what they have or what they are trying to align themselves with?

Personally I just see it as trying that little bit to hard, I don't have a strong enough opinion either way to really care, I laugh when I see a chev badge on a holden. But I bet the guy laughing the hardest is the one who is actually selling the crap. Have you even seen howmuch he is raping the idiots for? $30-$50 a BADGE!! depending on model.

Tickford wings on non XR's, pretty much as lame as chev badges on holdens. that goes for stickers as well as badges.

saying a car is Gay? meh, cars have no sexuality until you get to ones that you have to hand your testies in to drive.

your car isn't made by boosted/ti, so isn't it essentially the same argument?

Tickford's a company, just the same as TI Performance.
if he had the same sticker, but smaller and on his rear 1/4s would that be fine?

its all about personal preference.

pointless thread is pointless.
