Hey People!

Im getting my windows tinted tomorrow thru The Tint Professor, and i was just after some help or advice....

They tint the windows at 35%, but the guy on the phone said that if i wanted to they will tint all round at 35% and then the back window at 20%... Will this look dodgy or do you reckon that it will look alright and i should get it done??? Will i be able to notice the difference between the darkness very easy or do you reckon it will be fine?

Thanks in Advance

in my wagon i did all windows 20% except the front 2 (drivers/passengers) @ 35%.

Looks fine.

On my EB's - 20% all the way around. I've since learned that the cops don't seem to be too bothered by it.. not on my EB's anyway!

Cops don't seem to care.. I may actually go darker as I currently have 20% all round. On older cars (say before 93-94) you can pretty much do it as dark as you want as long as you claim it came out stock that way.

Unfortuantely theyre not that stupid. I learnt the hard way and mine was only 35% all round in an 87 laser. I had to remove the the driver and passenger front window tint as in SA it is only allowed to be 70% and 35% on the rest. Of course the front window is not allowed. I was also made to take it over the pits.

my gf's 300zx has 35% on the front and 20% on the back, and to look at it seems the same all the way around. cos u can't put the tint side by side, u can't tell they're a different level.

i'd put 20%on the back, and 35% down the sides for consistency :) my 2c

Sorry for the delay on the reply...

I paid $250 total. That includes them coming to your place and picking up your car and they leave you with a courtesy car whilst your tint is gettin done. You get a Bright Yellow Hyundai Excel :?

Im very impressed with the results :D

I have 20% on the sides and 5% on the back, it looks good and you cant really notice the diffrence except you can't see in through the back window at all.

Yeah cops snoop around my car all the time, and not one of them has even suggested theres something amiss with the tint job, so dont worry bout it.
