Hey guys,
just wanted to get your thoughts. Im wanting to changing the route of my exhaust so that instead of exiting behind the wheels, it exits out the back just below the bumpers with twin chrome tips either side (quad). i think itl look good, any thoughts?
also i was wondering if anyone has put EF/EL style rounder mirrors on an XD ute or something similar. I think it might make it look abit slicker and modern(without being to new).
thoughts are appreciated,
cheers

If you want rounder style mirrors, use the XH ute ones. They'll fit in the door like the old ones.
For the exhaust, you could go for dumpers, stop and turn down in front of the diff axle tubes.

yeah i was looking at the XH mirrors. I think it would give it a better look, rather then the squarer ones i have now. I didnt really think about dump pipes, il look into it, but im still leaning towards quads, i recon itl look tough with quad chrome tips

What about the rear window trim from an XH? It's rounded instead of square. With the ZL front and XH mirrors it should look pretty good.

Seen one down here for sale at $3500. same colour but it was tunnel ram. you could see the imperfection on the tub panals. When I drive pass next time I'll take some shots. love to buy it as a work ute but the price of petrol these day's won't allow it. LOL

I have a set of genuine still in its packaging Ford Fairlane ZL headlight protectors.
With the exhaust, have dumpers, and fit the quad tips, should last a very long time those tips with no corrosive gases going throught them..lol

Its the plastic surround on the back window...

the XD-XG is a flat type back, but the XH1 & 2 has a rolled out type...

I'd post up one, but my bro is outta town for easter... if no-one has one up by mon nyt, I'll put one up.

Its very common to see it done. You block off the inside opening so you can't see through it, and paint inside them flat black so they look like they're hooked up.
One of the benefits is it sounds a lot beefier with dumpers, and twin 3" pipes fit easily.
