Has anyone seen or done a XF front bar to ED front.I'm need to make room for the intercooler for my ed and was looking at a xf front bar.Just wanted to know if any one has done this before. If this will fit it looks like it provides more room thus no need to cut front bar up.

don't quote me but i think it is a possiblity of a straight bolt up the sides i think with a little pushing should clip up like the ED ones but would look different

well the xf front bar still has the lines as the ed has with the red strip.i know they have more room behind them than the ed ones.i'm just trying to get my hand on one to trial a fit.i have a xe ghia front bar but its too square.im trying to use something that will not look too out of place like a factory fit.
the only thing i dont like about using the xf bar is the little indicators in the sides of them, but easy fix, just fill them in.

If you don't like the side indicator lights, just get hold of a "pre unleaded fuel" bar (late 84-late 85)...1986 onwards had indicators.

XE Ghia bar would look interesting with a squared-up style bodykit.

I don't see how an XF front bar will have more room.
They've got more room in the whole front end, but it's not the bumper that magically does it.
The XF bumper still tapers in towards the bottom.

Definately interested to see how this pans out....Especially if it bolts up directly without having to drill more holes.
