Hi I just recently bought an XG XR6 from a mate and the blinkers are flashing like they are about explode, I have done the following cleaned all wire conections and bulb conections and changed flasher relay as well as added another earth cable to the front blinkers and still the blinkers are flashing off tap would this be a wiring problem or the indicator stalk, the hazards are flashing as normal.

Horses where blinkers.
Cars have indicators!

Sounds like a bulb is out. Does it work in one direction only?
Does it also happen when the hazzards are on?

All the blinkers are working left and right, and when the hazard lights are on they flash at a normal rate, if the globes are flashing it can't be a bulb, only thing i can put it down to is a dodgy wire or the indicator switch

ok just replace all the globes again, cleaned all earths and conectors still the same, when the hazards are on it flashes at its normal rate, when indicators are on they flash off tap right slighty faster than the left has anyone got any ideas

Does it have a towbar? If so check the connections on the towbar plug. I find sometimes my indicators start going mental, I simply have to push the cover on the plug in a bit better and it returns to normal
