When i purchased a while back i noticed the wipers were kinda slow. On the intermittent wipe mode it was like the arms were struggling to go to full sweep then skipped slowly back to the normal position.
Now comes the strange bit (well for me anyways) yesterday i started the car with the wipers on already and they were at normal speed for some reason. Thinking the problem has somehow fixed itself drove the rest of the day. The wipers went back to the grandpa slow selves again when i nearly got home that night . I can't seem to locate a wiper relay anywhere or is that in the BEM........also could the wiper motor be stuffed? Is it interchangeable with E series wiper motors? |

You can remove the grille, disconnect the rod from the motor arm and cycle the pivots, that'll give you an idea if they are stiff.
