hi there,

in the coming months im goin to be buying a set of xhp sabre wheels for my ef fairmont.. i know alot of people have them but i love them and they suite the shape right down to the ground.

unsure weather to go CHROME..or GUNMETAL?
and either 18's or 19's..

i think i just need some advice from use blokes as some of the members have them and could advise me on the right decision. and what's the right price to pay for them?? - as beaurepairs have got a sale on atm with them included but i dont want to get them and then find out i could have saved myself a cuple of hundred dollars.

help is appreciated

By the eay what were you quoted from Beaurepairs?

I'm also thinking about going 19's as I've been told thats the way to go for a BA. However on an EL 18's should look the goods.

Pete

RJR Lightnings are a similar design and come in a bright silver and are on special for $1199 for a wheel/tyre package at Bob Jane.

Other than that i would stick with the gunmetal ones cause the chrome hurts my eyes with the bling bling

Im also running 19" Sabres in the chrome finish tho just depends on the look your going for and i prefer th chrome finish on daker coloured cars....

19" rims with good suspension I find has a nice ride feel..still a little harsh but nothing like 20's so yeh ... if u go the machine finsh try and get the black centre xhp wheel cap or just the machined look too ... imo the chrome centre cap looks a lil odd on the chrome wheel

I'm running 18" Sabres on my EB. I'd go with the machine finish, the chrome ones I've got are a prick to clean, but on a black car they look the goods, makes spending 2 hours every weekend with a soft toothbrush cleaning them seem almost worth it.

Not chrome, its bling to the max, might as well put a monster tacho and neons to bro.
