they go straight on, occasionally with fibreglass copies they can be a little hard to fit, and its usually recommended that a pro does it but they do go on.

I asked canberra car styling for a price, i guess their kits should be not bad quality, its a toss up between that or 18s

 I think there are more XR bodykitted Falcons out there than there are XR's...

Yes, you an EF/EL kit will fit without hassles.

I'm unsure about the front and rear bumper extensions though...

Can I say something? (or, technically, write something :D )...

Is it just me, or is the whole "XR bodykit on a Falc" starting to become as common as the good old "clubsport bodykit on a Commie" thing?

Damn that car is nice! I wish my car had the original EF XR front end. But I'm lucky 'cause mine came with the factory bodykit :D

I belive you will find that they are actually not XR kits, but Tickford kits, and were able to be optioned on all of the SWB sedans in the EF/EL range. But were obviously more common to be found to be optioned on the XR's as these are the sports falcons!!!
Therefor it's a different ball game to Clubsport kit on a Commodore...

But as far as I'm aware I'm one of very few to have the Tickford kit on a LWB Falcon wagon!!! :-D

Hell no, EL front way tougher, just look at the price difference to see how many people agree... EF Tickford front skirt and XR cat-scratch bonnet vents are tougher, but EL sideskirts and rear skirt (just so happens that's the combination I went for too...).
The EF front just seems so boring to me, the EL one at least has the grill to keep it a bit more intersting...
