my nc fairlane's engine bay was way to hot after I added extractors I've got single hole xr vents has anyone put them into a non xr bonnet. any help would be greatly appreciated.

pretty sure it's illegal to cut holes in your bonnet.

I cant see why it would be illegal, the bonnet is not a structual part of a car it is only a bolt on panel.

hay guy's not going to be messing with the bonnet frame just the skin. was more interested in what mod's need to be done the the vent's.
I can see a lot of my time to come being spent with sanders and boddy filler.

It's easy. You just need to spend a bit of time marking out the positions. Then just cut the appropriate hole with a jig saw with fine toothed blade.
Good idea to test fit first, using masking tape on the bonnet , so you can fiil any gaps which might arise. Then once it's painted, urethane them on, but leave all day or overnight, as the glue takes hours to set.
