hey happened 2 weeks ago but i finally got time to post, dad was coming home in the new xr6 and a 4wd merged into him bullbar came into the passenger door and into the car hooked him and pulled him along down the rad, eventually it ripped the whole left side of the car off then as it slowed down the xr6 straghtened up and got crushed under the right side of the 4wd, all new panels along the left side, new spoiler bumpers tail light windows and badging, its a bf mark 2 so its not very old

yer well they were in the left lane he was in the right, and theres no damage from about half way up the side guard so either way u look at it its their fault, give way to the right, when merging car ahead has right of way and so on, didnt stop them blaming him, insurance worked it out, car went to the panel beaters last week on uesday it was a shell when he saw it thursday it was just missing a read windscreen side indicator and ford badge, now its finished and hes getting it on monday

if only WA caught up with the rest of australia and dropped them stupid "both lanes merge into one s**t (excuse the french)" and had the left lane end like the rest of the country does so many accidents like this would be avoided

Agreed, but if one lane ends completely theres no question of right and wrong. Not trying to imply fault where none exists...

Also, that colour is called breeze. The used car salesmen ordered it from an auction over east somewhere not knowing what colour it was, and i think it turned out okay, altho its still not sold..

not many km either. only 1200 i think?

Image
is this the colour?

yer few aches for a few days but if there was a passenger they would have had a bullbar straight through them, it was actually inside the car cos theres gaps in the doors all the way round (of course) the bullbar hooked through the front bit and if it had been 6 cm up or back we would be talking about 1 or 2 panels but no, the front of the passenger door was sticking out atleast 20 cm from the rest of the car, he actually drove it home seemed ok, according to the panrel beater it has flat spots on all the tyres and 1 cracked mag, lucky we bought a spare mag 4 the spare :p

I'm sure FTRs would be a dime a dozen if you hunt around a bit..
