hey guys i am thinking of putting an xr8 bonnet on my ba xr6 falcon. just wanting to know where abouts you can get these from i am located in adelaide s.a. Also i have heard u can get aftermarket ones for around 600-700 dollars or the ford genuine bonnet is around 1200. Just wanting to know what is the difference and do the aftermarket ones still fit just as good etc.

hey mate i got mine from ssv for $640 (unpainted), its an aftermarket steel XR8 bonnet, it fit so well and half the price of genuine I would highly recommend them (see my gallery pics). I would personally stay away from fibreglass bonnets and also grafting fibreglass to your exisiting bonnet as the install work is costly (unless you are doing it yourself) and there's lots of room for it to look s**t.
