just thought id tell people who havent tried this before but i just polished my headlights which were pretty yellow, i used kitten cream wax on em and its not taken away the yellow but it has made the headlights about 50% better than what they were, very impressed looks a hell of a lot better than before.
cheers, sorry for bringin up the always talked about yellowing headlights  !!

do you think either of these would work
meguairs: wash meguairs: wet look polish mothers: scratch remover Would any of them work.... thats all i got left do you do inside or outside?

u could try i spose, on the outside of the headlight mate, just try a little area at the top or somethin, just incase it makes it frosty or f**k it up, some sort of polish mite work.

Ive treied those products mate; they dont work for crap.
Very fine sandpaper then polish/buff or replace em is my best experience.

well the mothers stuff does work
not greatly they were really yellow before now they are just yellow... lol but yeh, not as great as i hoped... but still better then it was

Okay, sooo if you dont have your headlights covered then they go yellow. Because my headlights have the plastic protecters and the things look brand new. i would have expected them to be filthy. Maybe after cleaning them invest in a set of headlight protectors.

Yeah thanks for that Info- link UgleyIgley as I got a slight yellowing on only the Passenger side Head light. But I have used only just used
MEGUIARS X- Scratch on it and I must say it takes out 60% of the yellowing . But after a while it seems to go back to the way it was before. So got to keep maintaining it. I shall do your step-by-step fix it on a weekend
