Firstly, I have searched!

Okay I had a go using the tech doc as a guide, and it really turned out pretty bad (see pics) I only used upto 1200 grit and spent about an hour on the light, but its still really hazy. Compared to the other light that i clay bar'ed and polished with Plexus its pretty bad. Would using 2000 grit make it any better?

I'm going to the wreckers anyway tommorow, rekon it would just be easier to pick a 2nd hand light up and use the clay/plexus method?

Aaaaand does anyone know of any places in the western suburbs who restore headlights who I could also try?

cheers

i sanded with 1200'ish for 5m on each light, then some cut and polish on a buffer in the drill on each for another 5m and they came up like new (they were HORRID before).

The scratches from the 1200 are still there so will need something more abrasive than straight polish - I used some T-Cut "color restorer" after 1200 and mine came up quite well.
