bahahaha Till_Lind...i like ur photos. and yeah the wires seem to change depending on what month it was built. my wires are different colours as well.
good luck though EDIT:.....didn't notice 2nd page....good on u Till_Lind and nice to see u didn't get locked in the engine bay....somehow.

they're the cornering lamps from the fairlanes. they are meant to light up each side when u flick your indicator on. but you can wire em up to your parkers so they come on together and sorta look like fog/driving lights. they point out towards the side though, so they dont really do much cept add to the wank factor.

Well I bought a new LHS cornering lamp today from Ford for a measely $98, lol. So just thought I'd update with a new picture of both lights working and just some of where the relay is located, etc.
Here they are together. From my experience last night (with only RHS one operating), I have to say they do a good job of lighting up the side of the road, infact may piss some people off, lol. But yeah, spreads a good, bright beam and quite far too. 
Here is a picture of where the relay is located under that black cover that is behind the bumper and between the headlights. It is slightly off that plastic thing there, so I'm think contact with water should not be an issue. From there the wires to the RHS light and battery go under the RHS headlight and through the bumper. And also from the relay the LHS light is sent through the bumper and below the LHS headlight. 
Finally this is just a picture of the the power wire from the battery. Looks pretty damn stock, and barely noticable with the terminal cover on. 
Consequently the dodgy LHS cornering lamp and a few other items will appear in the For Sale section too, so look out for that.

Also, could you take a picture of your new cornering lamps (on parkers) on the road or path, showing how much light and were the light is shown..that would show alot of people that they are ok,, not so useless and many think. And what kind of light blobe does it use, h3/h4 etc?

Will do, I'll wait for dark. The bulp is kind of one you'd find in a indicator, same shape, different terminal. Works real well though, pictures will give you and idea. @Fordz, they have terminals on the end of the wires, I just wraped electrical tape around the terminals and the wires for the sake of it.

As always the pictures do not do them justice. One shot the beam of light went out into a paddock, but the bloody camera didn't pick it up, so I ommitted that picture. But here are the ones (of about 50, lol) that turned out okay. But remember, they are much better in person.
