G'day all,
I'm looking at some mags to put on a AU Fairlane and was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to get 20in wheels on there? Also if anyone knew the offset and stud pattern of the AU Fairlane? Any help would be much appreciated.

i would say u will have to put stiffer springs in, otherwise she will scrap on the guards. prob wont be able to lower her agreat deal, without loosing praticalality.

Yeah i didn't think i would be able to do much, lowering wise.
BTW what did u mean by rolling the guards?

on the insode of the wheel arch there is a lip, u will need to bend this up, as it will rub on the tyre and scrub the hell out of it..

i'm pretty sure that'll depend on the width of the tyre and the width of the rim, not the diameter of the rim. |

well with 20" rims, it will prob be fairly wide as it is.. so i would assume you would have to, yes?

Its probably no wider than 8in, which is what AU XRs ran. (235 wide tyres) As long as you keep the rollin diameter the same, (probably something like 235/30/20) then theres no reason why it would scrape on stock ride height.
No matter what diameter your rims are you'll still have scrape issues depending on how low you go.

Also you've got to be careful of the profile of tyre you go, to be sure it won't hit the upper control arm.
