Hey guys/girls,
Just wondering, is it possible to install a 5 point harness into a EF falcon without having to remove the rear seats or installing a rollcage? If so, how can this be done? Thanks

your parcel shelf is only glued in, a decent shove and the shelf will dislodge.
if you insist on going down this route, without putting a cage in, I would be mounting a bar between the 2 rear shock towers and welding on the required mount fittings. you will need to run with the rear seat folded down when on a circuit though. also you can use the rear seat bolts to mount the side straps to then just fix a solid mount in for the crotch strap. all harnesses are illegal for road use, they are FIA approved not ADR approved. 2 very different things and one does not superceed the other. if your car is on the road, it has to comply with ADR's, on the track, depending on what you are doing you need to adhere to FIA's regs. One of the reasons harnesses that hold the shoulders are illegal on the road is they restrict movement that is needed to complete required movements like checking blind spots. There are a whole raft of reasons, but you get my drift.

Plus using a harness in a daily driver is a PITA. I had a harness in my XT, but it sat on the floor behind the seat 99% of the time, and I just used the lap/sash belt mostly. I really only used the harness at the drags, or when feeling like having fun/being silly/could be bothererd with it.
