hi i have installed a rear footwell light fo my ef xr and also driver and passenger footwell lights too by connecting them to the rear light wires, if i install the 4 door lamps to the same wires (total of 7 lights from the one original wire) is the electrical load too much or anything?

No, the interior lights are fused so you'll know anyway. Lights dont draw much current so you should be right.
If you are still worried, have them run off a relay but seems like extra work for no reason o me.

Yeah, and personally, I'd change to leds before setting up a relay system anyway.

If they are 5w bulbs, thats only 35w total, or about 3amp load. Most wire should be good for 10amp+ so you should be fine.
If you're talking 20w bulbs then I think you should rethink your setup.

Just think, factory they have the same setup and they run on the same circuit. Shouldn't be a problem.

Good point actually if that's how they do it.
Anyway just for a another point of interest to save running a wire into the door, I recently discovered that you could actually splice your power from inside the door already, and just the negative trigger wire from your courtesy lights. Just something I noticed when I decided to change door looms recently, saves getting a second wire in through your door.
