I need to remove the passenger A pillar in the Fairmont in order to run a dashcam wire down from the top. I haven't done this before, so do I start to first lever the pillar from the top or the bottom?

Ive taken mine of from the top down. But its a prick of a job. Every time I have had to remove trims on mine no matter how careful half the clips snap.

I havent had clips break on me yet. AU should be the same as the B-series *Stick fat fingers in at the top *Pull (using gentle tugs rather than being forceful) *Remove hands from pants, have a cigarette (if desired) and then remove the trim

I snapped the ones on my EB. But maybe older car the plastics are more brittle.

Gentlemen thank you for the input.
I guess I got lucky and didn't break any clips and it came off ok. The wire is now neatly in place and all looks good. There is a mass of mysterious but very important looking wiring behind the glove box and I'm sure a reasonable auto electrician could tap into a couple of those to save me using the cigarette lighter output. My only problem was getting the glovebox back in position. You will probably laugh but it took me nearly an hour to work out how Ford installed it in the first place but after much trial and error eventually it snapped into position.
