OK the bits are now ordered....gonna be a good xmas holiday project!

WIth the refridgerant, am I allowed to just let it out myself? How do I do it....I dont have gregorys near me just, so I thought I may as well ask someone who knows.

it is illegal to dump it into the atmosphere so you should go to an air cond place and have it removed - having said that you just take off the little plastic caps and push the valve down with something. Don't breathe it in - vely bad gas!!!

I managed to make all the required changes without removing my heaterbox.

It's VERY difficult (blend door arm and motor), but possible.

sorry to Jump,

But do u need to change the engine bay loom when fitting a Fairmont dash loomfor CC,
also as my EF is manual is there any hiccups with the auto loom on the manual ecu?
Is the power aerial and power windows combined with the dash loom
and will I need a green BEM?

This may only be needed for GLI's. I noticed in my wagon that the two wires are already there.

Sorry, but seeing as no one answered directly in my thread, just quickly, to change the evaporator, will i need to drain the coolant?
