pull the silver surround off from around your auto shifter, undo 2 screws (1 on each side) that hold on the banana shaped plastic bits, pull them off, 2 screws and 1 plug to remove the tissue box holder, 2 screw at the lower sides of the icc and 1 up top under the triangle bit above the icc (this just un clips from the windscreen side of it)

Make sure you know what you want to do.

The aux input won't help you adding an amp to the ICC.

To add an amp, you need to either mod the ICC to add RCA outputs, or use line level converters on the speaker wires to provide RCA signal to the amp, or use an amp with high level inputs.

I think there's instructions on here, but it's not an easy job, great way to cost you a lot of money if you f**k it.

There is a document on the XR6T forums if your game enough to do it yourself.

A better idea would be

{DESCRIPTION}

This is what I did, as you get a proper amp trigger from the ICC.

so i take it thats not the best idea, is it hard to install line level converters on the speaker wires? Will it cost as much as getting the icc modded?
