One thing i haven't mentioned before is that the big white plug behind the fuse pannel is held in place by a black metal bracket.

To get good access to the white plug, remove the two bolts that hold the black metal bracket in place and the big white plug falls out with the bracket.
The big white plugs can then be uncliped from the black bracket.
Oh, the bolts that hold the black bracket are under the dash and near the steering column.

It's probably obvious and you have probably worked this out but it doesn't hurt to state it here :)

so iit the steering coloum plug or the big one near the fuse panel near the firewall
