Hi Guys

I currently have a BF SR Falcon. I am putting some after market fog lights on the car. I have the standard fog light switch from an XR so i will be installing that below the tracation control button on the dash (standard spot). I was just wondering though how to get the actual fog light symbol to show up on the dash when the fog lights are actually on. I can see on the cluster that the symbol is there but just wondering how i would go about getting it to activate, is this an easy thing to do? or does it involve programming etc?

Most appreciate the help guys

Cheers

Phil

Now i'm no Auto Electrician but If it was me I would do probably put a positive wire from the switch to the fog light dash indicator, then another wire from the switch.

I've never tried this, so you may have to be aware of the strength of the bulb in the dash (that you don't burn it out. I've added a diagram below. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but only try this at your own risk.

Cheers.

The above seems about right, cluster bulbs like all interior bulbs run off 12V like all the bulbs and all your doing is feeding it 12v whenever the foggies are coming on.

If you have LED's in your cluster you would need a resistor.
