hi i need help i put a new interior in changed to an xls instead of the xl interior power windows etc now my airbag light stays on i havent touched the airbags does anyone know why

What exactly did you plug/unplug, and while you were doing it, did you have the battery connected?

If you unplug a component connected to the airbag system while the battery is connected, it will register as an 'error' and hence give you the light when you re-connect the component. The only way I know of to get rid of it is to take it to Ford and have the diagnostic computer clear it away.
