I fitted my leather steering wheel the other day, all went fine, so I thought until I was driving and noticed that now the air bag light stays on. When I first start the car and drive it slowly, very slowly, flashes for a while, then after a while it just stays on. I've pulled it all apart, but the wiring is fine. Any help?

This usually occurs when the airbag fuse is removed. You will need to reset the air bag memory, You could try going to the "Vehicle Modifications" link. http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/documents.php?doc=3 there is some very helpful info there on the airbag system, however the pictures don't seem to be working for me

I had mine reset by a mechanic the first time, took him no more than 5 mins and he didn't charge me for it

remove the light, lol, nah, better get it checked out ... dunno anything about the airbags, but I've heard of the lights staying on after the fuse has been removed ... there is some kind of a reset but I don't know where it is.
