Hi guys, recently had my air con re-gassed but told not to move the dash switch, leave it on front facing for air to come through the front facing vents. I did as they said but I still have the cold air coming through the dash/windscreen vents. Question could this be the switch that is faulty, if so (and I can get another one) is the dash panel switch a simple unplug/remove/plug in the replacement?
{DESCRIPTION} Hi there! Sounds frustrating to still have the air coming through the dash/windscreen vents even after re-gassing. It does sound like the switch might be the culprit if it’s not directing the airflow correctly. If you can get a replacement, the dash panel switch is usually a straightforward swap—just an unplug, remove, and plug-in job. Might be worth checking any connectors or vacuum lines behind the panel too, in case something came loose. Hope this helps, and good luck sorting it out!
