Hi people
I have an AU series II and the air conditioner runs fine but every now and again a fog comes out the grills - it happens when the compressor kicks in and the wife always b**ch's on about it when we go driving. It doesn't smell of smoke or anything like that (elec burning) but it gives me the s**t as everytime I turn it on then the missus starts up again about the fog... Can anyone tell me if there's does it or have you heard about it b4, cause I want to put this too rest soon as if I can cheers n beers - AL

fog? all i can think of is the actual refrigerant gas that is used in the air conditioning system of a car. If that is the case, you might want to get it checked out. There might be a leak somewhere causing more refrigerant to leak out. As far as I know, refrigerant is dangerous...not too sure of what the dosage would be to make it dangerous. But if you see a fog coming out of the system, i'd check it out pronto before it does any harm to your body. But I'm just guessing, so don't quote me on this.

Thanks mate I am getting it checked soon, but I thought it might have been some quirk with that model or the AU - it's the first one I have ever owned ( and I luv it )
