The Other day i took the luster off my ED XR6 and when i put it back on im not getting any air comeing out of the vent on the dash. I'm not sure if i bumped somthing when i took the cluster out.

Does anyone have any ideas help would be great.

perhaps you bumped something in the air conditioning control unit or a fuse for the air control vents blew when you plugged the cluster back in - just suggesting.

Or you could of not lined it up or snapped something.
Take the dash off again and have a look.

where would the fuse for the air control vents be in an ED XR6?

i dunno about the ED XR6's, but i think most of the time the fuses in most cars are either under or near the steering column, or sometimes near the top of the engine bay.

personally i'd start by checking the air con actually turns on or not (irrespective of air flow) see if it lights up and whatnot.... if it turns on, but no air flow..i'd be looking at the hoses and whatnot see if youve accidently disconnected anything or if there are any foreign objects in the vents, if it doesnt turn on at all then its most likely a fuse..and if you replace the fuse and it still doesnt work, then i'd start getting worried about how much its gonna cost to fix...but thats just me

the selector uses vacume for vent controle, check the black tube running out the firewall near the washer bottle. it should be conected to the manifold. listen for air sucking noise.while engine running.

If U have climate controle here


engine at operating temp.

for EA to ED - Hold the FLOOR button

for EF to EL - Hold the MODE button

and press the OFF button.

Release both buttons at the same time.

any eror codesheld in memory will be displayed in the LCD Display..

for next error code press AUTO button

To quit press AUTO button untill no more codes are displayed.

To clear codes, initate self test twice.

FULT CODES

E1- Electronic Controle unit fulty- RAM air to windscreen
E2- blend Door Movement out of range- check for obstruction
E3- Cabin temp sensor open circut
E4- Solar load sensor short circut
E5- Ambient Air temp sensor open circut
E6- Evaporator Temp sensor open circut
E7- Engine temp sensor open circut
