I know this has been done recently and I have gone thru them all, many times, tech docs too. Can somebody offer me the correct advice as to which pin to earth where and when and how it is done with key off or on or my tongue hanging in or out or whether the wind should be blowing East West or f**k knows? I am so sick of flashing red warning lights and just want to kill it with a large sledge. I offer virtual schoooner to the successful remedy-er

Unfortunately, the EL cannot be cleared this way. Only the EF.

I'll check my Ford manual for the EL way.
I'll post back later. |

To clear EL airbag codes, it needs to be plugged into a diagnostic scanner

No ABS light, although, It did flash a bit whilst i tried to ground the wrong pin, being the ABS pin I assume? Read a bit bout that and i think i haven't killed anything, just entered a diagnostic mode.
