Its there to tell you there is a fault with the system, codes arent published, not in the manuals i have read anyway. The owners handbook/manuals say to take it to Ford.

Considering its continually flashing 5 and 2, i'd say its code 52 which is a low battery voltage problem.
Did you pull the airbag fuse or something like that recently. Check out http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=3 for more info and how to clear it. |

Oh yeah , i did pulled the Airbag fuse to temporary use it in other part for a day.
Now what to do if it is caused by pulling the fuse? |

Pulling the airbag fuse is not good for 2 reasons. It disables the airbags and throws a code that doesnt go away.
Replace the fuse with a new one and read the link I posted on how to clear the light. |

my BA does that, all kinds of random flashing for a couple of minutes, then it just stays on, don't want to take it to ford cause they always try to rip me off like they did with my last service.

Code 52 is a common fault code, can appear also if you've left the car for a while and the main battery charge is low.
As mentioned, follow the doco - you should be able to reset the system.

I did exactly the same as mentioned there but it didnt work.
Firstlswitch off ignition, then short the fourth pin in the first row(in the fuse box beneath steeering)to the ground, ANd then turn on the ignition. then waited for the Airbag indicator to prove out but i didnt, keeps on flasing as usual. Then secondly switch on the ignition and wait to the code to be displayed , then short the pin ot the ground and waited for 5 beeps but NO! i have no idea whats goin wrong. In the pic on the above link they have shorted the wire to the cylinder shaped small part, which to me seems like a plastic in my car, anyway i even shorted from the body but no reaction. Plz help. |

but if i push the steering wheel on the right, next to the writing, just before the horn the light goes away!! , so i reckon its a ford gliche
