Hi all,
Aircon wasn't working, heater isnt' hot,
I got it regased a few days ago at Natrad in Nunawadding (guy there said there was no gas AT all in it),
Now that its been regased its slighlty cooler, but isn't kicking out, neither ice cold like a new regas should be,
Is there a place I can take it to, to be looked at? or pay someone on the forums to fix it?
This heat is killing me 42degrees today, and im still sweating in my car with aircon full blast :(,
If anyone can guide me as to where to go, or someone can help me out as im not illiterate with airconditioning side of cars,
much help would be great
thanks
- Ash

** Happy new year

well if there was no gas there was a leak somewhere!

Ring the Australian Refrigeration Council and ask them for reputable repairers in your area, and tell them what you have experienced.
Either that or go to www.arctick.org and contact them.

the guys tested it, as in they put a dye in it n looked for leaks, but he said it could be leaking at the compressor, or the compressor, or (fins?) in the dash is stuffed:S

they guy said that he checked it (using the uv light) as i saw him, he said it was a standard check but he woudln't be able to check for leaks in the compressor ...
i find it abit hard to belive tha tyou pay $120, and they say, welll it might leak elese where, then have to spend another $120 + other problems,
Today coming back from nagambie it was 41 outside, the aircon was full blast at 16 degrees (it read) and i was still sweating not freezing cold air coming out...

Read http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=9 and do the self test and monitor mode - use the correct keystrokes that it lists. Once you get used to them, you can tell a lot as to what's happening with the system.
