I have a 30th anniversary Ea falcon. Did these come with an alarm. I have (what looks like) a control box under the dash, wired up to the doors and the like. I have a remote that does nothing. I cant find the siren, but have been told that it has an alarm.
If it's there but not working how can I a) find out if it is there and b) fix the SOB?

1. Don't have one.
2. Doesn't specifically say if it does. Most did, but not all. They were installed on most, but by 3 or 4 different companies.
3. Got the button, but it doesn't do anything, otherwise I would know I had an alarm.

Thanks anyway.

If its the same alarm as my one, open the bonnet and look behing the front left headlight, might be an alarm box.

pm me if you need a step-by-step guide on how to open the bonnet ;)

Not from the factory.

Sounds like it has had either an alarm or a imobiliser added at some stage, both would likely include remote entry. If it is a imobiliser that would explain why you can't find a siren.

mines got like door sensors and a little red bulb in the interior that would indicate an alarm is installed but no remote and no controll box. lol

Oh yeah, Forgot to mention the little red bulb on the RHS of the dash.
As I said earlier, a Ford bloke told me that most had alarms installed before sale, but not factory fitted. Ford used 3 or 4 different mobs to install them. If anyone knows anything about this, can you give me a hint as to where I can look, mostly concerning a fuse or relay that might be shot.

sounds like it might be just an immobiliser.

If u dont have a siren under the bonnet the i doubt you have an alarm. Could be an imobiliser but its probobly been disconnected after stuffing up like alot of dealer installed imobilisers.

What brand remote is it?
