i would like to get a head unit so i can run my ipod as well.
and i've seen some people just putting the head unit under the factory cd player right next to the lighter. if i do this what would happen to my factory cd player? this has gotten me confused, do i just keep it turned off and use the aftermarket one? :S cheers again

you can but an ipod module for your ipod which plugs into your factory system. From ford.

nope, not true. it plugsin under the rhs of the dash and ipod cable goes under the tissue box.

they should have them in stock, the cable retracts from under there, its bout 80cm long

Make sure you get the amplified version of the cable, the non-amped version sucks.

you can get the aplified version on ebay for about $85, i got one and works a treat

going back to his first question,
when putting in an new head unit into b series. what does happen to the old radio does the screen still show all the climate control settings etc ? im assuming yes?

even in the ba mk2? ive got the same car and colour as u and i even got the bluetooth hooked up its a piece of piece the instructions that come with it are very clear and concise. |
