I was wondering if anyone would have any idea as to how I could have my interior lights dim EVERY time they go off, and not just aftera delayafter the door is closed....What I mean is....normally you unlock the car, open door, close door...then turn on the ignition, at which point, the interior lights go straight off, no dimming......I would like them to dim EVERY time if anyone has any ideas?
Or a schematic of the BEM?

Would need to stop the interior light cuircuit in the BEM from being informed that key had been turned to accessories...

Tough one :?

The fading function is controlled by a relay somewhere (you can hear it click when it engages). If you can find the relay and re-route the signal from the ignition (and presumably also the one the Smartlock module sends when you lock the car as well) to it you'll have your solution. Easy enough in theory, in practice it's probably a lot more difficult (due mainly to having to dig inside the BEM which will most likely be impossible to get info on). The real question though is why?

Why? Cause I like the fading! Simple as that!
Probably is more hassle than its worth....Jaycar kit is always an option, might look into it....or make my own...wont be difficult I suppose.
