hey guys, i have just baught an ef with a blown auto for 250 bucks, the new auto is going in tonight, but another thing i have noticed is the seats and upholstery are putrid.
like they are tinted brown. the interior is (was) that blue luna mist colour scheme. i think it has been a smokers car, because it stinks too. anyway, just wondering a way to get the stains out because upholstery cleaner is not working at all. cheers guys.

hey mate a bit of elbow grease and some OMO or something similar. I used a not to harsh scrubbing brush. They came up really well, but I got a steam clean after that and they looked brand new.

This may sound stupid, but it works, well. Get some degreaser, spray it on the seats (out of the car) and hit them with a pressure washer.

It will not tear the fabric. Sit them in the sun for a day and they should be almost dry, 2 and they will be.

If you can be bothered, you can remove the actual covers off the seat foam. Soak the covers in some detergent...Omo, morning fresh etc (obviously not bleech) and then attack with high pressure hose.
Or lots of elbow grease and start scrubbing. I always thought the foam would soak the water up...so I'd pull the seat covers off.
