Hey lads
I've noticed that when the climate (or just vent air for that matter) is set on the 'face setting' it works just dandy; blowing cool air on my delightful face. BUT, when I go up a hill, or the engine goes under a heavy load, the air is redirected from my gorgeous face to my not-so gorgeous feet. Once the engine is back on cruising along mode, its on my face again. Is it just my car, or is it common?

This is very strange! Because the default setting is the screen on a Ford not your feet. Therefore if you are losing Vacuum then it should switch to screen like mine does under load
You need to find where the vacumm is leaking from or it maybe the one-way check valve has failed. You will find it behind your washer bottle.
